Project Overview
Clearing the Path, Recycling the Trees
Before there can be a road, we first have to remove the trees and brush and rocks and dirt. Check out the video below showing the process of removing the trees, transporting them to a chipping and disposal area, moving them into the giant chipper, and sending the fresh mulch into the waiting haul trucks. All of this organic tree material will be processed and used for mulch and fertilizer, thereby recycling it all.
Duello Road Extension – Work Starts: The much needed Duello Road extension project for St. Charles County has begun with BuildPro STL Construction’s Earthworks Superintendent, Derek Van Berkel, overseeing the clearing, grubbing, excavation, and grading portion of the project in preparation of the new road that will be laid in the coming months. This road extension will allow traffic to by-pass the current road which goes in front of the nearby school. The existing road is only two lanes, has several sharp 90 degree turns that slows traffic, and gets especially bogged down when school starts and ends each day.
